Her Excellency attended the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia (WA) Vietnam Veterans Memorial Day Service.

Her Excellency  attended the Girl Guides WA Annual Youth and Adult Awards Ceremony in the Government House Ballroom.  In the evening, the Governor attended the AFL match between West Coast Eagles and Carlton.

Friday, 11th August 2017

Her Excellency visited the City of Swan and officiated at the opening of the City of Swan Midland Youth Centre. Her Excellency also visited Wandoo Heights, Millendon, and undertook a walking tour before attending a luncheon hosted by the City of Swan. In the evening, the Governor delivered an address at Curtin University’s 50 years of Innovation Gala Dinner.

At Government House, Her Excellency received Mr M Barnes, Under Treasurer, Department of Treasury.  In the afternoon, the Governor received Mr A Morey, Principal Policy Adviser (Economic Reform) Office of the Treasurer. In the evening, the Governor attended Yirra Yaakin Theatre
