The Governor and Ms Annus hosted a reception for Dr Craig Challen SC OAM, (joint) 2019 Australian of the Year (with Dr Richard Harris OAM).

Hosted Navy Clearance Divers Trust

The Governor hosted volunteers, trustees and members of the Navy Clearance Divers Trust. Clearance divers within the Royal Australian Navy are elite Navy personnel responsible for some of the most dangerous work in the Australian Defence Force.

Since its establishment in 2011, the Navy Clearance Divers Trust has played a central role providing relief and assistance to current and former members of the RAN Clearance Diving Branch, and their families, who become injured or incapacitated as a result of their service or training.
