Visited Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory

As part of the Governor’s Regional Visit Program outreach, the Governor visited the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory and met with the Shire of Gingin President, Councillors and CEO to chat about local issues.

The Observatory is just one hour North of Perth and includes state of the art telescopes offering visitors a unique astronomy experience and interactive displays. Its AIGO research centre supports important research into gravitational wave detection.
