As Lieutenant Governor and Administrator of the State, The Honourable Wayne Martin AC met with Mr Haruka Takahashi, Chairman of Gotoh Educational Corporation and Dr Chitoshi Miki, President of Tokyo City University.

Dr Chitoshi Miki was accompanied by Dr Yuichi Inouye, Advisor and Mr Masaaki Hodota, Director from the university’s International Affairs Office.

Since 2015, Tokyo City University have sent approximately 430 Japanese students to WA for study programs with Edith Cowan University and Murdoch University.

In February, 130 students from Tokyo City University attended WA’s first International Student Welcome event, hosted by the Governor and StudyPerth.

Dr Chitoshi Miki expressed the University’s gratitude for inviting their students to the event, which was attended by 1000 international students set to start their studies in Perth this year.
