Beethoven in the Government House Ballroom

Friday, 26th October 2018

The final concert in the 2018 Music on the Terrace series will be held in Government House Ballroom this Sunday, 28th October.

The Concert will be presented by the Government House Foundation and directed by Mark Coughlan, with members of the Fremantle Chamber Orchestra.

The concert features two of Perth’s most exciting string players, violinist Rebecca Glorie and cellist Louise McKay as soloists, with pianist Mark Coughlan in Beethoven’s Triple Concerto.

As the only concerto Beethoven wrote for more than one soloist, the interaction between the three solo instruments and the orchestra in this unique piece is uplifting and engaging.

The program will also feature music by composers influenced by Beethoven, including his contemporary, Carl Maria von Weber.

Ticket sales will be available at the door or can be purchased here, https://perthconcerthall.com.au/whats-on/music-on-the-terrace-2018/
