The Governor hosts Open Days at Government House, generally three or four times each year. Details of Open Days are widely publicised in the press and other media.
Tour guides, and Friends of Government House, are on hand to provide historical information to visitors as they tour through the public rooms of the House, and visitors are invited to picnic in the gardens or simply enjoy the musical/dance entertainment in the Ballroom or the grounds.
