Government House is one of Perth's most magnificent properties. Built in 1863 and set in 3.2 hectares of beautiful gardens, lawns and trees where the bird life abounds, both the buildings and gardens are listed on the State’s heritage register.
The Government House Foundation of Western Australia was established in 1987, primarily to promote an awareness of the significance of Government House, the Ballroom and the Gardens as part of the history and heritage of Western Australia. Members of the Foundation are interested people drawn from all walks of life and are the Friends of Government House.
Objectives/Aims
The Foundation supports the restoration, enhancement and conservation of this magnificent property by raising funds to acquire appropriate works of art, antique furnishings,

Sara Mcliver's glorious soprano voice will bring a special lustre to some of Gershwin's best songs. |
