In the afternoon, the Governor announced Mr Dustin Stuart as the 2010 Rhodes Scholar. Ms J McArthur and Ms J Panegyres were selected to compete for the Australia-at-large Rhodes Scholarship. In the evening, the Governor and Mrs Michael officiated at the University of Western Australia 2009 Convocation Awards Ceremony.
